Postdoc position in physical/chemical oceanography of the Arctic Ocean (Tromso, Norway)

The Norwegian Polar Institute (www.npolar.no/en) has a position available for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Institute’s Arctic Ocean programme. The position is in the Section for Oceanography in the Research Department.

The position is funded by the project “Sustainable Development of the Arctic Ocean (SUDARCO)” and will evaluate horizontal and vertical fluxes of heat, freshwater, nutrients, carbon and contaminants in the Nansen and Amundsen Basins, using in-situ physical and biogeochemical measurements from moorings and along a repeated CTD section.
