AER is looking for a Senior Research Associate to contribute to several recently-funded oceanographic and climate science research projects.
About the Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Role
- You will contribute to ongoing research programs in ocean circulation, sea level, and climate.
- You will develop new approaches for analyzing, comparing, and interpreting large and diverse datasets, including satellite and in-situ observations and numerical model output.
- You will lead high-impact peer-reviewed papers, give presentations at scientific conferences, and keep up with relevant scientific and computational advances.
In addition, as a new member of AER’s internationally recognized Research and Development Division, you will be provided with (1) ample opportunities to collaborate with scientists at AER and other research institutions and (2) both individual and team mentorship to develop your own externally-funded research program.
