Senior Project Manager (code 12485)

Our Division of Ocean Predictions and Applications (OPA), located in Lecce, is looking for a new position of Senior Project Manager, responsible for:

Coordination of project management activities within the Division, in agreement with the Division Director and Division Manager;
Daily implementation and management of ongoing EU, national and regional funded projects, from an administrative and budgeting point of view, supporting OPA scientists;
Support to OPA Division for proposals organization, drafting, budgeting issues and networking, in collaboration with CMCC Fund raising office;
Budgeting, financial reporting and control, tracking and monitoring of projects;
Risk management and data management;
Internal and external communication;
Meeting facilitation and support to the project events’ organization.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

M.Sc Degree in Management Engineering or Scientific Disciplines;
Relevant knowledge and experience in European Funding Programme (H2020/Horizon Europe) including ethical issues, data management, IPR management, Risk management and contingency plan, Quality control and assurance, and in other National/Regional/Local funds;
Knowledge in scientific disciplines is desirable, if not graduated in this area;
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management;
Very good command of English language;
Strong problem-solving attitude.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

Very good command of the Office suite and IT project management tools;
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to details;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Teamworking attitude and ability to work independently.

Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.
