We are pleased to announce a fully funded four-year PhD position in Sea Ice in the Arctic Climate System at the Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Research Utrecht (IMAU), Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
In this position, the candidate will develop skills in satellite data analysis, climate modelling, and polar climate research. The project will help increase understanding of key processes in the Arctic climate system, such as the linkage between Arctic sea ice and the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC).
This position is part of the Dutch NWO-Summit programme EMBRACER, and the PhD candidate will work in close collaboration with national and international research partners across disciplines.
