Assistant professor position in oceanography (Delhi, India)

The Centre for Atmospheric Sciences at IIT Delhi has openings for Assistant/Associate Professors in the following areas: Modelling and data assimilation in oceanography, Biogeochemical cycles, Weather and climate forecasting, and Meteorological observations. Exceptional candidates in all the other areas of atmospheric and oceanic sciences will also be considered.

Women candidates are especially encouraged to apply. Foreign nationals will be appointed on contract basis, initially for 5 years. The contract can be renewed after the 5-year tenure gets over. Those applying as foreign nationals will need to get a work visa from the Government of India.
