The Coupled Air-Sea Surface Layers Laboratory at the University of New Hampshire is recruiting a candidate to join as a PhD student for the Fall 2026 semester.

The work will span several subdisciplines, including fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, optics, and control systems. Successful candidates should have a background (B.S. or B.S. + M.S.) in engineering, physics, mathematics, or physical oceanography and be willing to combine hands-on fieldwork with theory.
